Testing for Organic Growers and Suppliers
Organic farming is one of the fastest growing industries in Australia with a 5 % grower and 17 % export industry increase over 2016. AMAL has been working with the organic growing and certification industry since the late 1980’s and understands the requirements placed on farmers, processors and handlers. Our residue screening has been developed to cover the persistent banned agri-chemicals of the past to the newer more complex synthetic pesticides commonly seen in the Australian agricultural industry. Our expert staff are happy to chat to you about your current concerns whether it is help with the interpretation of results, developing a testing regime or information about our fully accredited testing practices.
AMAL has been working in with Australia’s largest and most established organic accreditation bodies for over two decades, companies such as:
- Australian Certified Organic (ACO)
- National Association for Sustainable Agriculture Australia (NASAA)
- Chemical Free Farmers Association
- Bio-Dynamic Research Institute
- Organic Systems & Solutions
Having specialised in organic systems for many years our team is able to perform NATA accredited test to well below the Maximum Residue Levels (MRL’s) set by Food Standards Australia New Zealand (FSANZ) to ensure your product is contaminant free.
