Our Story: From Country Victoria to Melbourne’s Specialist Laboratory

AMAL Analytical was established in 1987 in country Victoria, initially specialising in residue testing for the export meat industry. Recognising the growing demand for independent analytical testing across multiple sectors, we expanded into occupational hygiene, environmental investigations, and organic food certification throughout the 1990s.

In 2015, AMAL relocated to our current custom-built laboratory in Huntingdale, Victoria. This purpose-designed facility houses state-of-the-art analytical instrumentation, enabling us to deliver the highest quality results across our specialised service areas while maintaining the personal approach that distinguishes us from corporate laboratory networks.
